Our client is a global insurance carrier Job description :
This position will be responsible for the full gamut of insurance product accounting. Specific responsibilties include: Work with colleagues across product development and IT organizations to ensure the smooth introduction of new products to the corporate accounting process Provide Financial analysis to senior reports Work with external audit team Review journal entries and account reconciliations Maintain up-to-date processes with regards to compliance across products, specifically within variable annuities Financial Reporting, MD&A Footnote preparation, IFRS Control/SOX work with relevant departments Who we are looking for :
We are seeking a CPA or equivalent experience with significant experience from the Insurance industry. Strong knowledge and comfort with internal IT systems will be needed for this role. An enthusiasm for insurance and the implementation of new product accounting procedures will be very applicable. Whats on offer :
